SAP S/4HANA parcel shipping software turns outbound deliveries into carrier labels and returns tracking and cost. GoatLabels covers the parcel side for a business unit without a multi-carrier project: import a CSV of deliveries or call a REST API, and it rate-shops USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Free is $0 a month and Pro is $40 flat. It is not an SAP add-on and does not write back to S/4HANA.
USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL quoted together on each parcel from an S/4HANA outbound delivery, from one account with no carrier contracts to set up.
Every label debits the quoted amount to a dated ledger entry that carries the delivery or sales order number you sent.
A team on S/4HANA usually weighs three alternatives to a file or API handoff: a parcel add-on that runs inside SAP, an enterprise multi-carrier system, or keying deliveries into carrier websites. GoatLabels is the handoff route: nothing installed in SAP, four carriers from one account, and a prepaid ledger. The table sets out the trade-offs. Vendor statements were read on October 6, 2026.

Parcel shipping software for SAP S/4HANA takes an outbound delivery that is picked and packed, buys a carrier label for each carton, and hands the tracking number and freight cost back. S/4HANA knows the ship-to party, the handling units, and the weights; the parcel tool turns them into SAP outbound delivery parcel labels and supplies carrier rates, label formats, and tracking events.
Large SAP programs often buy multi-carrier shipping for SAP S/4HANA as a system or a certified add-on, scoped for every plant and region. That scope is the problem for a single business unit, a spare-parts desk, or a samples team that sends a few hundred parcels a month and cannot wait for a slot in the SAP roadmap.
Yes. Export the deliveries that are ready to ship to a spreadsheet, save the file as CSV, and import it into GoatLabels, which accepts up to 500 rows per file. Errors name the row and the field, and one bad row does not fail the batch, so a missing postal code holds back one delivery and not the whole wave.
Check which list apps in your S/4HANA release offer a spreadsheet export and which columns they include; you need the ship-to address, weight, and delivery number at minimum. SAP S/4HANA shipping labels then come from GoatLabels and nothing is installed or transported in SAP, so the unit can start with an export authorization and a GoatLabels account while IT keeps its change calendar.
Your integration layer or a small script reads the delivery from S/4HANA and calls the GoatLabels REST API: create the shipment, read the USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL quotes, and buy the one your rule selects. Calls are unlimited on every plan, and an Idempotency-Key header means a retry after a timeout never buys a second label.
Test keys let the team prove the flow against a sandbox client before any productive delivery is touched. The OpenAPI 3.1 spec describes every endpoint, and signed webhooks that can be replayed carry tracking events. GoatLabels ships no SDK and no SAP content package, so the mapping from delivery fields to the request is yours to build and own.
Each label debits the quoted amount from a prepaid wallet and creates a dated ledger line that carries the reference you sent, normally the delivery or sales order number. Export the ledger and your finance team can join freight spend to deliveries, customers, or cost centers without waiting for carrier invoices.
A delivery packed in several cartons produces several labels, each its own ledger line with the same reference, and carrier re-weigh adjustments post to the same ledger. GoatLabels does not post into S/4HANA. Your interface, an upload, or a journal entry records the cost and the tracking number on the SAP side.
It is the wrong fit when you need a certified SAP add-on, your own negotiated carrier contracts, LTL or freight, hazmat handling, SSO, or a contractual SLA, because GoatLabels offers none of them. It prints carrier labels for parcels only, from US and Singapore origins, on USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL, and an international network.
A plant that ships pallets and parcels from one transaction, or a supplier bound to retailer compliance labels and routing guides, should stay with an add-on or an enterprise multi-carrier system. GoatLabels suits the unit whose parcels are a side lane next to the main freight flow and who wants parcel labels without waiting for a blueprint.

S/4HANA already holds the ship-to, the handling units, and the weights. A script or integration flow on your side sends them to the REST API, compares four carriers, and buys the label, with unlimited calls on every plan, live and test keys, signed replayable webhooks, and rate-limit headers. The dashboard and the API draw on the same prepaid wallet.
