Zoho Inventory shipping labels across four carriers

Packages in. Four carrier quotes out.

Zoho Inventory shipping labels can be bought outside Zoho with GoatLabels, which rate-shops USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL on every package from one account. Packed sales orders arrive by CSV import of up to 500 rows or by REST API. Free is $0 a month for 50 shipments and Pro is $40 flat. There is no native Zoho connector, so tracking goes back by your own import or script.

What are the ways to print shipping labels for Zoho Inventory orders?

A Zoho Inventory team has four realistic routes: Ship via Carrier inside Zoho, Ship Manually with labels bought elsewhere, an enterprise multi-carrier system, or a CSV and API handoff to GoatLabels. The table compares them. Zoho facts come from Zoho's help pages, read on 2026-10-06.

How do I print shipping labels for Zoho Inventory orders?

You print shipping labels for Zoho Inventory orders either inside Zoho with Ship via Carrier or outside it with a label service, recording the result as a manual shipment. Zoho's help says Ship via Carrier needs an integration with at least one supported carrier, and saving it creates a shipment order and a shipping label.

The outside route suits teams that want several carriers compared on each package without opening carrier accounts. Pack the order in Zoho, send the ship-to address, weight, and sales order number to GoatLabels by file or API, buy the label, and then record the shipment in Zoho with Ship Manually and the tracking number.

Which carriers does Zoho Inventory integrate with?

Zoho Inventory's carrier help page lists UPS as its directly integrated carrier and a separate group of carriers reached through EasyPost. Zoho states that UPS support covers domestic shipping within listed regions, including the USA, EU, Canada, and parts of Asia Pacific, and that an active UPS account is required.

That model works when one carrier contract covers your lanes. GoatLabels takes a different approach to Zoho Inventory multi-carrier shipping: USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL are quoted on every parcel from one account, one all-in number each, with nothing to connect. The trade-off is that you cannot bring your own carrier accounts or negotiated rates into GoatLabels.

Can I send Zoho Inventory orders to a label tool by CSV?

Yes, as long as your export has one row per parcel with the ship-to address, weight, and a reference. GoatLabels imports up to 500 rows per file, names the row and field of any error, and keeps going when one row is bad, so a single missing postal code does not hold up the rest of the day's packages.

Check which export or report in your Zoho plan gives you those columns. Zoho's help describes an Export Shipments option in the Packages module for all shipments or a chosen period, but it covers shipments already created, so you can build the label file from a sales order or package view instead.

Can Zoho Inventory trigger a label purchase automatically?

Yes, with a small service of your own between the two systems. Zoho Inventory workflow rules can fire webhooks, which Zoho describes as instant web notifications sent to an HTTP or HTTPS URL each time an event occurs. Your service receives that call and asks the GoatLabels REST API for quotes on the package.

The API has unlimited calls on every plan, test and live keys, and Idempotency-Key support, so a repeated webhook does not buy a second label. Tracking events return on signed webhooks that can be replayed. GoatLabels provides no packaged Zoho app, so the Zoho Inventory shipping label API flow is a service your developer owns, along with the step that records tracking in Zoho.

When is GoatLabels the wrong Zoho Inventory shipping software?

It is the wrong fit if you want labels created and tracked entirely inside Zoho Inventory, or if you ship on your own negotiated UPS contract, because GoatLabels has no Zoho connector and does not accept your carrier accounts. In those cases Zoho's Ship via Carrier route is the simpler answer.

It is also parcel only: no LTL or freight, no retailer compliance labels, no hazmat service, and no SLA or phone support. GoatLabels suits Zoho Inventory teams that send parcels across several carriers, want each package priced four ways, and are comfortable with a file or a short script doing the handoff.

Point a Zoho Inventory workflow webhook at a small service of your own, and let that service rate-shop and buy through the GoatLabels REST API. Calls are unlimited on every plan, with live and test keys, Idempotency-Key support, signed replayable webhooks, and rate-limit headers. API labels and dashboard labels draw on the same prepaid wallet.

Zoho Inventory shipping labels: FAQ

Does GoatLabels have a Zoho Inventory shipping integration?
No. GoatLabels has no native Zoho Inventory connector or marketplace app. Orders arrive by bulk CSV import of up to 500 rows per file or through the REST API, and tracking is recorded in Zoho by your own import, script, or manual shipment entry.
Can Zoho Inventory print shipping labels without a carrier account?
Inside Zoho, no: Ship via Carrier needs an integration with a supported carrier, and UPS requires an active UPS account. With GoatLabels, USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL labels are bought on GoatLabels' accounts from a prepaid wallet, so there is no carrier account to open or connect. You also cannot add your own carrier accounts or negotiated rates.
How much do Zoho Inventory shipping labels cost with GoatLabels?
The software is $0 a month on Free with 50 shipments a month, or $40 a month flat on Pro with unlimited shipments and cheaper label rates. CSV import and the API are on both plans. Labels are paid from the prepaid wallet and there is no contract.
How do I get the tracking number back into Zoho Inventory?
Record the shipment in Zoho with the tracking number, either by hand using Ship Manually or through your own script. GoatLabels returns tracking by API when the label is bought and on signed webhooks afterward, but it does not write into Zoho Inventory.
Can one Zoho sales order ship as several cartons?
Yes. One order can produce several labels in GoatLabels, and each label is its own ledger line carrying the same reference. Export the ledger and total by sales order number to see the total freight cost for that order.
Can I talk to someone about my Zoho Inventory setup first?
Yes. Email contact@goatlabels.io with your monthly parcel volume, the carriers you use today, and a sample export of packed orders if you have one. We check the file against the bulk importer and price the parcels across USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Support is by email, not phone.
