Epicor shipping software turns Kinetic or Prophet 21 orders into carrier labels. GoatLabels does it by CSV import of up to 500 rows or by REST API, and rate-shops USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL on every parcel. Free is $0 a month for 50 shipments; Pro is $40 flat. It is parcel only, with no native Epicor connector and no write-back.
USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL are quoted together on each parcel from one account, with no carrier contracts to arrange.
Each label writes a dated ledger entry with the Epicor order or pack number you sent as the reference.
Epicor sells its own shipping product, Epicor Quick Ship, for Kinetic, Prophet 21, and BisTrack. The other routes are a custom build on Kinetic's REST APIs, an enterprise multi-carrier system, or a file and API handoff to a label service such as GoatLabels. Epicor facts below come from Epicor's own pages, read on 2026-10-06.

Epicor shipping software is the tool that takes a picked order from Epicor Kinetic or Prophet 21 and returns a carrier label, a tracking number, and a freight charge. Epicor offers its own product for this, Epicor Quick Ship, which Epicor describes as covering parcel and LTL with rate shopping across many carriers.
Not every shipping lane needs that scope. A parts counter, a samples desk, or a branch that sends a few dozen cartons a day mostly needs Epicor shipping labels for parcels and a clean cost record. GoatLabels is built for that narrower job and does not replace a freight or compliance system.
For Epicor Kinetic shipping by parcel, either export the orders ready to ship as a CSV file and import it, or have a script call the GoatLabels REST API for each shipment. Epicor describes Kinetic as having secure, OData-compliant REST endpoints, so a developer can read order data there and pass the ship-to, weight, and reference to GoatLabels.
The GoatLabels API has unlimited calls on every plan, live and test keys, Idempotency-Key support so a retry never buys twice, and signed replayable webhooks for tracking. There is no packaged Epicor app, so your team or your Epicor partner owns that script.
Yes, by file, with no Prophet 21 shipping integration to build. Produce a CSV of the orders ready to ship from Prophet 21, using whatever export or report your system administrator supports, and import it into GoatLabels at up to 500 rows per file. Each parcel is quoted across USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL before you buy.
Import errors name the row and the field, and one bad row does not fail the batch, so a wrong postal code delays a single order. Put the Prophet 21 order number in the reference column and it appears on every ledger line for that order, including each carton of a multi-carton shipment.
Each label debits the quoted amount from a prepaid wallet and writes a dated ledger entry that carries your reference. Export the ledger, match the reference to the Epicor order or pack number, and you have freight per order to add to the invoice or post to a cost account.
Carrier re-weigh adjustments land in the same ledger as separate lines, and there is no carrier invoice to reconcile at month end. GoatLabels does not write into Kinetic or Prophet 21. An import or a script on your side, built by your team, posts the tracking number and the cost.
It is the wrong fit if you need LTL booking, your own negotiated carrier rates, automatic write-back into Epicor, retailer compliance labels, or a contractual SLA. GoatLabels offers none of those. It also has no SSO and no phone support, only email and an in-app assistant.
Shippers that mix pallets and parcels at one station, or that want freight charges posted to the ERP with no code, should look at Epicor Quick Ship or an enterprise multi-carrier system. GoatLabels suits Epicor sites whose orders leave as parcels and who accept a file or a short script.

A script that reads Epicor order data can create a shipment, compare four carrier quotes, and buy a label in a few calls. The REST API has unlimited calls on every plan, live and test keys, Idempotency-Key support, signed replayable webhooks, and rate-limit headers. It spends the same prepaid wallet as the dashboard.

Free is $0 a month with 50 shipments a month. Pro is $40 a month flat with unlimited shipments and cheaper label rates. Bulk CSV, 13 connectors, and the REST API come with both, and labels are paid from a prepaid wallet.
