SAP Business One shipping software turns B1 deliveries into carrier labels and returns tracking and cost. GoatLabels does it without an add-on: import a CSV of up to 500 rows, or have a script read deliveries from the Service Layer and call a REST API. It rate-shops USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL, costs $0 on Free or $40 a month on Pro, and has no native SAP connector.
USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL quoted together on each parcel from a Business One delivery, from one account with no carrier contracts to set up.
Every label debits the quoted amount to a dated ledger entry that carries the delivery or sales order number you send.
A Business One team has four realistic routes: the Shipping Types setup that ships with the product, a shipping add-on from a vendor, a multi-carrier parcel system built for SAP, or a file and API handoff to a label service. GoatLabels is the fourth. Nothing is installed in B1 and four carriers come from one account, but it does not write back to B1 by itself.

Not from the shipping setup SAP documents. The native feature is a Shipping Types setup window, used to specify how an order is to be shipped, such as air cargo or courier. It holds a shipping type name and a website address for the shipping company, and the type then appears on the Logistics tab of sales and purchasing documents.
The SAP help page for that window shows no label, rate, or carrier-connection function. So to ship parcels from Business One you can add something beside it: a vendor add-on, a multi-carrier parcel system, or a label service fed by a file or an API. The shipping type stays useful as a field that says which method the customer expects.
No. An add-on is one route, and a file or API handoff is the other. With GoatLabels you export the deliveries that are ready to ship as a CSV file and import it, up to 500 rows per file. Errors name the row and field, and one bad row does not fail the batch, so a missing postal code holds back a single delivery.
How you produce that file depends on your B1 version and setup, so check the export, query, or report options your administrator already uses. An add-on, the packaged form of SAP Business One shipping integration, keeps the label step inside B1 and is supported by its vendor. The handoff installs nothing in B1, which suits a team that wants labels this week and a decision about add-ons later.
Yes, with a script you own in between. SAP describes the Service Layer as a REST API that follows OData protocol versions 3 and 4, so a small program can read open deliveries from B1 and pass the ship-to address, weights, and document number to the GoatLabels REST API, which returns four carrier quotes and buys the one your rule picks.
The GoatLabels API has unlimited calls on every plan, live and test keys, and Idempotency-Key support, so a retried call after a timeout never buys a second label. Tracking comes back in the response and on signed webhooks that can be replayed. GoatLabels ships no packaged B1 app or SDK, so the script, its hosting, and its B1 credentials are yours.
Your own script or import posts them, because GoatLabels does not write into Business One. The tracking number is returned when the label is bought, and each label debits the quoted amount from a prepaid wallet to a dated ledger entry that carries the delivery or sales order number you sent as the reference.
Export the ledger and join it to B1 documents on that reference to get freight cost per delivery for invoicing or margin review. A carrier re-weigh adjustment posts to the same ledger as its own line, and a multi-carton delivery produces one ledger line per label with the same reference, so the cartons add up to one order cost.
It is the wrong fit if you need labels printed from inside the Business One client, a vendor-supported add-on, your own negotiated carrier rates, LTL or freight booking, or a contractual SLA. GoatLabels offers none of those. It is parcel only, on USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL, and an international network, from US and Singapore origins.
It also does not produce retailer compliance labels such as GS1-128, EDI documents, or hazmat paperwork. If warehouse staff must never leave the B1 screen, or your carrier contracts are the reason you ship cheaply, an add-on or a multi-carrier system built for SAP is the better choice. GoatLabels suits B1 teams that want four carriers quoted without a project.

Business One already holds the ship-to, the cartons, and the document number. A script that reads deliveries from the Service Layer can rate-shop and buy each label through the GoatLabels REST API, with unlimited calls on every plan, live and test keys, Idempotency-Key support, signed replayable webhooks, and rate-limit headers. The dashboard and the API spend the same prepaid wallet.
