Sage shipping software for parcel labels

Sage orders in. Parcel labels out.

Sage shipping software turns Sage 100 or Sage Intacct sales orders into carrier labels. GoatLabels does it by CSV import of up to 500 rows or by REST API, and rate-shops USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL on every parcel. Free is $0 a month for 50 shipments; Pro is $40 flat. It has no native Sage connector and does not write back to Sage.

Four carriers for every Sage order

USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL are quoted side by side on each parcel, from one account with no carrier contracts to open.

What are the ways to ship Sage orders?

Sage users can pick between recording shipments by hand inside Sage, a partner shipping add-on, an enterprise multi-carrier system, or a file and API handoff to a label service. GoatLabels is the last kind: nothing to install in Sage, four carriers from one account, and a prepaid ledger, but no packaged Sage app. Vendor facts below were checked on 2026-10-06.

What is Sage shipping software?

Sage shipping software is any tool that takes a sales order held in Sage and produces a carrier label, a tracking number, and a freight cost for it. Sage itself is where the order, the customer, and the invoice live. The label usually comes from somewhere else, so the real question is how the two exchange data.

For a Sage 100 distributor that means getting ship-to addresses and weights out of the Sales Order module. Sage Intacct shipping software matters to a finance team for a different reason: getting the shipping cost into the books against the right order or customer. GoatLabels covers the label and the cost record, and leaves the posting inside Sage to you.

How do I print shipping labels for Sage 100 orders?

Export the Sage 100 orders that are ready to ship as a CSV file and import it into GoatLabels, which accepts up to 500 rows per file. That is multi-carrier shipping for Sage 100 without opening a carrier account: each row is quoted across USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL, and you buy the service you want. Errors name the row and the field, and one bad row does not hold back the others.

Check your Sage 100 export or report tools, or ask your Sage partner, for the simplest way to produce that file with the order number in a reference column. Shipments are still recorded in Sage 100 through Shipping Data Entry, where you key the order number, so the tracking number has a place to go.

Can Sage Intacct orders buy labels through an API?

Yes, if someone on your side writes the script. Sage Intacct has a REST API documented on the Sage Developer Portal, and GoatLabels has a REST API with unlimited calls on every plan. A small service reads orders from one, then creates the shipment, reads four carrier quotes, and buys a label on the other.

GoatLabels provides live and test keys, Idempotency-Key support so a retried call never buys twice, signed replayable webhooks, and an OpenAPI 3.1 spec. It is not listed on the Sage Intacct Marketplace and ships no packaged app, so your developer or Sage partner owns the code.

How does shipping cost get from the label into Sage?

Every label debits the quoted amount from a prepaid wallet and writes a dated ledger entry carrying the reference you supplied, such as the Sage order number. Export the ledger, match on that reference, and you have freight cost per order to bill back or to post to an expense account.

Carrier re-weigh adjustments post to the same ledger as their own lines, so the total you fund equals the total you spent. There is no separate carrier invoice to reconcile. GoatLabels does not write into Sage 100 or Sage Intacct, so a journal import or a script on your side does the posting.

When is GoatLabels the wrong shipping software for Sage?

It is the wrong fit if you need labels printed from inside the Sage screen, automatic write-back of tracking and freight, your own negotiated carrier rates, or LTL booking. GoatLabels offers none of those. It is parcel only, with no SLA, no SSO, and email support rather than a phone line.

A partner add-on built for Sage 100, or an enterprise multi-carrier system, suits teams that want shipping embedded in the ERP workflow. GoatLabels suits Sage teams whose orders leave as parcels, who are comfortable with a file or a short script, and who want four carriers without opening carrier accounts.

Public API v1

Sage holds the order. The API buys the label.

A script beside Sage can create a shipment, compare four carrier quotes, and buy the label when an order is ready. The REST API has unlimited calls on every plan, live and test keys, Idempotency-Key support, signed replayable webhooks, and rate-limit headers. API and dashboard labels draw on one prepaid wallet.

Sage shipping software: FAQ

Does GoatLabels offer a native Sage 100 shipping integration?
No. GoatLabels has no packaged connector for Sage 100, Sage Intacct, or any other ERP. Sage orders come in by CSV import of up to 500 rows per file or through the REST API, and nothing is written back to Sage automatically.
Which carriers can I use for Sage shipping labels?
USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL, rate-shopped on every parcel from one account, plus an international network. Parcels ship from US and Singapore origins. You cannot connect your own carrier accounts or negotiated rates.
What does Sage shipping software cost with GoatLabels?
Free is $0 a month with 50 shipments a month. Pro is $40 a month flat with unlimited shipments and cheaper label rates. Labels are paid from a prepaid wallet funded by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, ACH, or crypto. There is no contract.
Can one Sage order ship as several cartons?
Yes. One order can produce several labels, and each label is its own ledger line carrying the same reference. Summing the lines for that reference gives the freight cost for the whole order.
Can GoatLabels ship pallets or LTL for Sage orders?
No. GoatLabels is parcel only and does not quote or book LTL or freight. Keep a freight tool for pallets and send the parcel cartons through the CSV import or the API.
Can I talk to someone about my Sage setup first?
Yes. Email contact@goatlabels.io with your Sage product, your monthly parcel volume, and a sample order export if you have one. We check the file against the bulk importer and price the parcels across USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Support is by email, not phone.
