NetSuite shipping software for parcel labels

Saved search in. Four carriers out.

NetSuite shipping software turns sales orders and item fulfillments into carrier labels. GoatLabels does it from a saved search exported as CSV, up to 500 rows per import, or from a REST API your script calls. It rate-shops USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL on Free at $0 or Pro at $40 a month, and it has no SuiteApp or native NetSuite connector.

What are the ways to print parcel labels from NetSuite orders?

A NetSuite account has four realistic routes to a parcel label: the built-in Shipping Label Integration, a shipping SuiteApp, an enterprise multi-carrier system, or a file and API handoff to a label service. GoatLabels is the fourth route. Oracle's help says the built-in integration is not available to new customers, so newer accounts choose among the other three. Vendor facts were checked on 2026-10-06.

Does NetSuite have built-in shipping label software?

The NetSuite Shipping Label Integration is a built-in feature, but Oracle's help says it is not available to new customers. The feature generates tracking numbers and labels inside the account after you register FedEx, UPS, or USPS/Endicia accounts, and Oracle describes it as available with limited support only for existing customers.

An account that never had it enabled needs another route: a shipping SuiteApp, an enterprise multi-carrier system, or a label service fed by an export or an API call. GoatLabels is that last kind of service.

How do I print shipping labels from a NetSuite saved search?

Build a saved search of the orders that are ready to ship, export the results as CSV, and import the file into GoatLabels. NetSuite search result pages have an Export - CSV button, so this needs no development work.

Put the ship-to address, weight, and the order number in the columns. GoatLabels accepts up to 500 rows per file and names the row and field of any error. One bad row does not fail the batch, so a missing postal code holds back one order and the rest of the wave still gets labels.

Can NetSuite buy labels through an API?

Yes, if your team writes the script, because GoatLabels publishes a REST API and no packaged NetSuite app. NetSuite documents an N/https module for SuiteScript and SuiteTalk REST web services for reading and writing records, so a developer can work from inside the account or from a small service beside it.

The GoatLabels API has unlimited calls on every plan, live and test keys, and Idempotency-Key support, so a retried request does not buy a second label. Test the flow against a sandbox account with a test key before it touches live orders.

How do label costs and tracking get back to NetSuite?

They come back through your own import or script, because GoatLabels does not write into NetSuite. Every label debits the quoted amount from a prepaid wallet and creates a dated ledger entry that carries the reference you sent, normally the sales order number.

Export the ledger and match it to orders on that reference, or read tracking from the API and from signed, replayable webhooks. A multi-carton order produces one ledger line per label, all with the same reference, and carrier re-weigh adjustments post to the same ledger as their own lines.

When is GoatLabels the wrong NetSuite shipping software?

It is the wrong choice when you need a supported SuiteApp inside NetSuite, your own negotiated carrier rates, or LTL and freight. GoatLabels is parcel only, buys labels on its own carrier accounts, and offers no SLA, SSO, sub-accounts, or dedicated account manager. It does not print retailer compliance labels such as GS1-128 or produce EDI documents.

Teams that want packers to ship from the item fulfillment screen with no file or script in between should evaluate the shipping SuiteApps for NetSuite listed on SuiteApp.com. GoatLabels suits accounts that ship parcels and can run an export.

Public API v1

A SuiteScript that buys the label.

Your script sends the ship-to, cartons, and order number, reads four carrier quotes, and buys the one your rule picks. The REST API has unlimited calls on every plan, live and test keys, Idempotency-Key support, signed replayable webhooks, and rate-limit headers. The dashboard and the API draw on the same prepaid wallet.

NetSuite shipping software: FAQ

Does GoatLabels have a NetSuite SuiteApp?
No. GoatLabels has no SuiteApp and no native NetSuite shipping integration. NetSuite orders reach it as a CSV export of up to 500 rows per file or through the REST API, which has unlimited calls on every plan.
Which carriers can NetSuite orders ship with?
USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL, rate-shopped on every parcel from one account with one all-in number per carrier, plus an international network. Parcels ship from US and Singapore origins. You cannot add your own carrier accounts.
How much does NetSuite shipping software cost with GoatLabels?
The software is $0 a month on Free with 50 shipments a month, or $40 a month flat on Pro with unlimited shipments and cheaper label rates. Labels are paid from a prepaid wallet. There is no contract.
Can I use my own UPS or FedEx account numbers?
No. GoatLabels does not support bring-your-own carrier accounts or negotiated rates. If your contract rates matter more than setup time, a shipping SuiteApp or an enterprise multi-carrier system that uses your accounts is the better fit.
Does it handle NetSuite orders that ship LTL?
No. GoatLabels is parcel only and does not quote or book LTL or freight. Filter pallet orders out of the saved search and keep them in your freight process. Parcel cartons can still be labeled by CSV or API.
Can I talk to someone about my NetSuite setup first?
Yes. Email contact@goatlabels.io with your monthly parcel volume and a sample saved search export. We check the file against the bulk importer, price the parcels across USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL, and show the API and the ledger. Support is by email, not phone.
