Apparel wholesale shipping software turns a boutique or retailer order into carrier labels for every carton. GoatLabels rate-shops USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL on each carton, puts your PO number on every ledger line, and costs $0 a month on Free or $40 flat on Pro. It is parcel only and does not print retailer compliance labels or send EDI documents.
USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL quoted together on each carton of a wholesale order, from one account with no carrier contracts to set up.
Every carton label debits the quoted amount to a dated ledger entry that carries the PO or order reference you sent.
Wholesale apparel brands usually pick from four routes: buying labels on each carrier's own website, a subscription shipping platform, an enterprise multi-carrier or freight system, or a label service with a prepaid wallet. GoatLabels is the last one: four carriers per carton from one account and a ledger keyed to your PO, but no freight and no retailer compliance labels.

Apparel wholesale shipping software is the tool that takes a confirmed wholesale order, splits it into cartons, and buys a carrier label for each one. Searches for wholesale clothing shipping software or fashion wholesale shipping software mean the same tool. A wholesale order is not a single poly mailer. It is two, five, or twelve cartons of folded or hanging goods going to one boutique door, and each carton needs its own label, weight, and tracking number.
The software has to do three things well for a brand: pull the ship-to and the PO from wherever the order was taken, choose a carrier and service for each carton, and record what each carton cost against that PO. The last part matters when freight is billed back to the retailer on the invoice, or when you want to know the true shipping cost of a season's delivery window.
Wholesale apparel orders reach GoatLabels three ways: a store connector, a CSV file, or the REST API. You can sell wholesale through a B2B storefront, and Shopify documents B2B features such as company locations and payment terms on its plans. GoatLabels connects to Shopify and 12 other stores, so those orders can be pulled in without retyping.
Orders written from line sheets, at a trade show, or in an ERP come in as a file. Export the orders that are ready to ship, one row per carton, and import up to 500 rows at a time. An error names the row and the field, and one bad row does not fail the batch. There is no native ERP connector, so anything beyond the 13 stores is CSV or API.
Enter each carton with its own weight and dimensions under the same order, and send the retailer's PO number as the reference. One order then produces several labels, and GoatLabels quotes USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL on each carton with one all-in number per carrier. You can pick the same service for the whole order or let each carton take its own.
Carton size changes the answer. USPS Priority Mail accepts packages up to 70 lb and 108 inches in combined length and girth, and UPS applies an additional handling charge to large or heavy packages. A bulky carton of outerwear and a dense carton of denim can price very differently, which is why quoting every carton separately is worth the extra step.
Send the PO number as the reference on every carton, and the cost follows it. Each label debits the quoted amount from a prepaid wallet and writes a dated ledger entry carrying that reference. Export the ledger, group by PO, and you have the shipping cost of each wholesale order to add to the invoice or to compare with the freight terms you agreed.
A carrier re-weigh adjustment posts to the same ledger as its own line, so a carton that was measured short shows up against the right order instead of in a month-end carrier invoice. GoatLabels does not write costs into an ERP or accounting system automatically. The ledger export or the API is the source, and your team or script does the posting.
It is the wrong choice for orders from large retailers that are bound by a routing guide or EDI. Those orders may require GS1-128 carton labels, an advance ship notice, and shipment on the retailer's carrier account (check the retailer's routing guide), and GoatLabels provides none of them. It prints carrier labels on its own accounts only, so your negotiated rates cannot be used either.
It is also parcel only. Pallets, LTL, and freight bookings need a freight tool, and there are no sub-accounts, SLAs, or phone support. As shipping software for apparel brands, GoatLabels suits those whose wholesale orders leave as parcel cartons to boutiques and independent retailers. For department store and big-box orders, read the EDI shipping labels page and plan on a compliance system for that channel.

If your orders live in an ERP or a B2B order system, the REST API lets a script rate-shop and buy a label for each carton when the order is packed. Calls are unlimited on every plan, with live and test keys, Idempotency-Key support, signed replayable webhooks, and rate-limit headers. The dashboard and the API spend the same prepaid wallet.

Free is $0 a month with 50 shipments a month. Pro is $40 a month flat with unlimited shipments and cheaper label rates. Bulk CSV, 13 connectors, and the REST API come with both, and labels are paid from a prepaid wallet.
