Auto parts shipping software quotes each part across carriers by its packed size and weight, then prints the label. GoatLabels rate-shops USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL on every parcel from one account, on Free at $0 a month or Pro at $40 a month flat. It is parcel only and has no hazmat service, so airbags and other regulated parts must be arranged directly with a carrier.
USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL quoted together on each packed part, from a brake pad box to a long trim piece, with no carrier contracts to set up.
Every label debits the quoted amount to a dated ledger entry that carries your invoice, order, or shop account reference.
Most parts distributors pick from four routes: carrier websites and the carriers' own shipping tools, a subscription shipping platform, an enterprise multi-carrier or freight system, or a pay-as-you-go label service. GoatLabels is the last kind: multi-carrier shipping for auto parts with USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL quoted on every parcel from one account and a prepaid ledger, with no hazmat service and no freight.

Auto parts shipping software takes a packed part's dimensions, weight, and destination, compares carrier prices, and prints the label. For aftermarket parts shipping software the comparison matters more than usual, because a distributor's catalog runs from a small sensor in a padded mailer to a bulky bumper cover, and the lowest-priced carrier changes with the shape of the box.
The second job is record keeping. A counter or warehouse team ships to repair shops, dealers, and fleets all day, and finance needs the freight cost against each invoice. Software that stores the cost with your reference on every label saves a month-end matching exercise against carrier bills.
Measure the packed carton and quote it across carriers before you buy, because size rules differ by carrier and service. USPS says Priority Mail applies dimensional weight rates to large, lightweight packages over 1 cubic foot, and caps the service at 70 lbs and 108 inches of combined length and girth. UPS lists a longest side over 48 inches or a second-longest side over 30 inches among its Additional Handling criteria.
GoatLabels quotes USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL on the dimensions you enter and shows one all-in number per carrier, so a long exhaust section and a dense rotor are each priced on their own terms. If a carrier re-weighs or re-measures the parcel, the adjustment posts to the same ledger as its own line.
Not through GoatLabels: it offers no hazmat or dangerous-goods service, so airbags, regulated lithium batteries, and other hazardous parts must be arranged directly with a carrier under that carrier's rules. USPS lists air bags among items you cannot send in the US mail. UPS states that it accepts hazardous materials on a contract basis only, for customers with a scheduled pickup account.
Rules on aerosols and adhesives vary too. USPS says some hazmat can only travel by ground and some cannot be mailed at all. A practical setup is to flag regulated SKUs in your item master, route them to your carrier hazmat process, and send everything else through rate shopping.
Parts orders reach GoatLabels in three ways: a CSV file of up to 500 rows, a REST API call, or one of 13 store connectors such as Shopify, eBay, Amazon, and Walmart. There is no native connector for an ERP or a parts counter system, so those orders arrive by export or API.
The CSV importer names the row and field of each error, and one bad row does not fail the batch. An order that packs into several cartons produces several labels, each a ledger line with the same reference. For one-off shipments, the in-app assistant drafts a label from a pasted order or email.
It is the wrong fit if a large share of your shipments are hazmat, pallets, or freight, because GoatLabels handles none of those. Engines, transmissions, and body panels beyond parcel limits need an LTL or freight tool, and regulated parts need your own carrier agreement.
It is also wrong if you depend on your own negotiated carrier rates, need a native connector to your ERP or parts system, or require phone support, an SLA, or sub-accounts per branch. As auto parts distributor shipping software, GoatLabels suits distributors whose daily volume is ordinary boxed parts and who want four carriers compared without contracts.

Your order system already knows the part, the ship-to, and the packed size. The REST API lets a script rate-shop and buy the label when the order is picked, with unlimited calls on every plan, live and test keys, Idempotency-Key support, signed replayable webhooks, and rate-limit headers. The dashboard and the API spend the same prepaid wallet.

Free is $0 a month with 50 shipments a month. Pro is $40 a month flat with unlimited shipments and cheaper label rates. Bulk CSV, 13 connectors, and the REST API come with both, and labels are paid from a prepaid wallet.
