Salesforce Commerce Cloud shipping software has to be added, because Salesforce Order Management shows labels only after you configure the label logic. GoatLabels supplies the label side by REST API or CSV import: USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL rate-shopped per parcel, Free at $0 or Pro at $40 a month. It has no native Salesforce connector.
USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL quoted together on each parcel a fulfillment order produces, from one account with no carrier contracts to set up.
Every label debits the quoted amount to a dated ledger entry that carries the order summary or account reference you send.
Three routes are realistic alongside GoatLabels: label logic you build yourself in Salesforce Order Management, a third-party shipping app that runs inside Salesforce, or an enterprise multi-carrier system. GoatLabels is a label service your flow or Apex code calls, or that takes a CSV file. It needs no carrier contracts but ships no Salesforce package. Vendor facts were checked on 2026-10-06.

Not without configuration. Salesforce's help page for the Store Fulfillment App says Salesforce Order Management shipping labels for a packed order do not show unless you configure the label logic, and it recommends a flow that generates labels, with an Apex class when a third-party API is involved.
That leaves the carrier side to you. Something has to hold carrier access, quote a rate, buy the label, and return a tracking number. GoatLabels is one way to fill that gap: a REST API your Apex class can call, with USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL quoted on each parcel from a single account, which gives Salesforce Commerce Cloud multi-carrier shipping without a carrier contract.
Trigger a flow from an Order Management event and have it call the label API through Apex. Salesforce documents platform events such as OrderSummaryCreatedEvent for starting flows in an order workflow, so the callout can run when an order or fulfillment order is ready rather than on a timer.
On the GoatLabels side the calls are: create the shipment, read the four carrier quotes, buy the one your rule picks. Send an Idempotency-Key so a retried callout never buys a second label, and use test keys in a sandbox org first. There is no SDK or managed package, so your developer or partner owns the Apex.
Yes. Salesforce B2B Commerce shipping can start from a file: export the orders that are ready to ship from a Salesforce report or list view as a CSV, then import that file into GoatLabels. The importer takes up to 500 rows per file and names the row and field of any error, and one bad row does not fail the batch.
This suits a team that wants labels this week while the integration is scoped. The trade-off is manual work on the way back: tracking numbers and costs come out of GoatLabels as an export, and someone loads them into Salesforce with whatever data import tool your admin already uses.
Each address becomes its own shipment. Salesforce documents split order fulfillment flows that create a fulfillment order for each address, and each of those can be sent to GoatLabels as a separate label request carrying the same order reference.
Multi-carton orders work the same way: one order can produce several labels, and each label is its own ledger line with your reference. Finance can then total parcel cost per order or per buyer account from the ledger export. GoatLabels has no sub-accounts or per-client balances, so the reference is what separates the spend.
It is the wrong choice if you need a managed package installed in your org, your own negotiated carrier rates, LTL or freight, SSO, or a contractual SLA, because GoatLabels offers none of those. It is a parcel label service reached by API or CSV, with support by email and an in-app assistant.
Teams that ship pallets, that must print retailer compliance labels, or that have no developer or partner to maintain an Apex callout are better served by a shipping app built for Salesforce or an enterprise multi-carrier system. GoatLabels fits when the orders leave as parcels and a short integration is acceptable.

Salesforce already holds the ship-to, the items, and the fulfillment order. The REST API is the Salesforce shipping label API your flow or Apex callout uses to rate-shop and buy the label, with unlimited calls on every plan, live and test keys, Idempotency-Key support, signed replayable webhooks, and rate-limit headers. The dashboard and the API spend the same prepaid wallet.
