Adobe Commerce B2B shipping software turns company orders in your Magento store into carrier labels. GoatLabels connects through a native Magento store connector and rate-shops USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL per parcel from one account, so you need no carrier accounts of your own. Free is $0 a month, Pro is $40 flat. It does not read B2B module data such as approvals; it ships the orders.
USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL quoted together on each parcel from your Magento store, from one account with no carrier credentials to request.
Every label debits the quoted amount from a prepaid wallet to a dated ledger entry that carries your order or PO reference.
A B2B team on Adobe Commerce has four realistic routes to Magento B2B shipping labels: the label creation built into the Admin, a shipping extension from a marketplace, an enterprise multi-carrier system, or a label service with a store connector. GoatLabels is the last one: a native Magento connector, four carriers from one account, and a prepaid ledger. The table shows where each route asks more of you.

| GoatLabels | Adobe Commerce built-in labels | A marketplace shipping extension | Enterprise multi-carrier system | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| How orders arrive | Native Magento store connector. Bulk CSV import of up to 500 rows or the REST API for anything else. | Inside the Admin, where the order already lives. | Installed into the store; you configure and maintain it. Details vary by extension. | Integrated by the vendor or a partner as an implementation project. |
| Carrier accounts | None to set up. Labels are bought on GoatLabels' accounts; your own negotiated rates cannot be imported. | Your own. Adobe's guide starts with contacting your shipping carriers, so you need an account or credentials with each. | Check the extension's listing; many expect your own carrier accounts. | Your own carrier contracts, often many carriers and regions. |
| Carriers covered | USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL rate-shopped on every parcel, plus an international network. | FedEx, USPS, UPS, and DHL are listed with built-in label creation. | Depends on the extension. | Usually broad, set by the contracts you connect. |
| Rate comparison per parcel | Four quotes side by side, one all-in number per carrier. | Not described in Adobe's label guide; each carrier is configured separately. | Depends on the extension. | Yes, usually rule-based across contracted carriers. |
| Cost record for finance | A dated wallet ledger line per label carrying your reference; re-weigh adjustments post to the same ledger. | Billed by each carrier on its own invoice to your account. | Not stated here; check the extension's listing. | Carrier invoices, often with audit tools. |
| Price and commitment | Free $0 a month with 50 shipments, or Pro $40 a month flat with unlimited shipments. No contract. | Part of the platform; carrier charges are billed by the carriers. | Set by the extension vendor. | Quoted by sales, typically with implementation fees. |

Adobe Commerce B2B shipping software is the tool that takes an order placed by a company account in your store and produces the carrier label, the tracking number, and a cost record. The storefront handles the buying side, such as purchase orders with an approval step and Payment on Account as a payment method. Shipping software handles what happens after the order is approved and picked.
For a B2B team the job is less about a pretty checkout and more about repeatable output: the right carrier for a heavy carton, several labels for one order, and a freight cost that finance can tie to a customer. That is the part GoatLabels covers as Magento B2B shipping software, for parcels only, on USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL.
GoatLabels connects through a native Magento store connector, one of its 13 store connectors, so orders from your store appear ready to rate and label without a custom build. Each parcel is quoted on USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL at once, with one all-in number per carrier, and the label you pick is paid from a prepaid wallet.
The connector handles normal store orders. GoatLabels does not claim to read B2B module data beyond the order itself, so company hierarchies and approval states stay in Adobe Commerce. If you need an order set the connector does not give you, Adobe's B2B release notes say orders export in CSV format and can be filtered by Company Name, and that file can go into the bulk importer, up to 500 rows at a time.
Not with GoatLabels. Labels are bought on GoatLabels' carrier accounts, so one signup covers USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL and there are no credentials to request or paste into the store. The trade-off is plain: you cannot bring your own carrier accounts or negotiated rates into GoatLabels.
The built-in route works the other way. Adobe's Admin guide for creating shipping labels lists FedEx, USPS, UPS, and DHL and begins with contacting your shipping carriers, which means holding an account or credentials with each one you want to use. That suits a shipper with contracts already in place. It is more setup for a team that only wants to compare four carriers on Monday.
Send the purchase order or order number as the reference on each label, and the cost lands on a dated ledger line that carries it. Every label debits the quoted amount from the prepaid wallet, so a ledger export filtered by reference gives finance the freight spend per order, ready to rebill or post against a customer.
An order that ships in several cartons produces several labels, each its own ledger line with the same reference, so the lines add up to the order. Carrier re-weigh adjustments post to the same ledger instead of arriving on a later invoice. GoatLabels does not write costs back into Adobe Commerce or an ERP automatically; the export or the REST API is the source and your process does the posting.
It is the wrong fit if you must ship on your own negotiated carrier contracts, book LTL or freight, print retailer compliance labels, or need SSO, an SLA, or a dedicated account manager, because GoatLabels offers none of those. It is parcel only, with support by email and an in-app assistant, not by phone.
It is also a poor match if shipping must be driven by B2B module logic inside the Admin, such as rules per company, since the connector works with orders and nothing deeper. In that position you can keep the built-in labels with your own carrier accounts or fund an enterprise multi-carrier system. As Magento wholesale shipping software, GoatLabels suits teams that want four carriers compared per parcel without a setup project.

Adobe Commerce webhooks send synchronous calls triggered by events, and a small service on your side can answer one by calling the GoatLabels REST API to rate-shop and buy a label. The API has unlimited calls on every plan, live and test keys, Idempotency-Key support, signed replayable webhooks, and rate-limit headers. There is no SDK, so your developer owns that service.

Free is $0 a month with 50 shipments a month. Pro is $40 a month flat with unlimited shipments and cheaper label rates. Bulk CSV, 13 connectors, and the REST API come with both, and labels are paid from a prepaid wallet.
